Why A World Changers’ Summit?

For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! (1 Cor 9:16 NIV)

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” (Act 13:2 NIV)

Why a World Changers’ Summit?

Simple: Because God calls us to change the world together.

Every world changer has had that awesome and terrifying realization that they have been given a special set of gifts and a special calling.

So we set out. Compelled by this magnificent, heavenly itinerary we arrive half-way into the journey only to confirm again and again that we are in way over our heads. Wave upon wave of the unforeseeable crashes down unto our calling but we press forward, knowing that this is what God has called us to.

Why? We’re compelled. Not by grandeur or applause, but by calling.

But when we look at the world changing ministries of the New Testament, we don’t see a scatter-shot of individuals trying to work from scratch. We see teams, groups of people dedicated to doing what God has called them to do and supporting each other as God directed.

These people knew each other, cared for each other and supported each other (for the most obvious example, see Romans 16).

This summit is designed to be a gathering of people who are in the throws of God’s calling. This is a place to meet those who are experiencing the meaning of costly discipleship, to shake their hands, hear their stories and hear what God is teaching them.

In other words, this is a summit for people like you.

We have scheduled a team of experienced world changers, guys who have been in the trenches, to come and offer their ministerial street wisdom.

We are also bringing in experts in various fields with whom you can sit down and discuss the topics most burdensome to you –everything from time management to tax law.

We have also set aside time for you to interact with the other ministry leaders attending the events. Time to brainstorm, swap war stories, pitch ideas, be warned by failure and encouraged by success.

God is changing the world through His people. Through you. So we want to support that work. Your work.

Please join us this April for World Changers’ 2012.

Change the world. Don’t do it alone.
